The cycle of life is ever present in nature. As arborists we understand how the life of a tree can be nurtured, restored or removed and reused to make way for new life!
Restore
Nature is our best teacher when it comes to restoration and maintenance. Trees need care for many reasons. The responsibility of a tree steward is to know how to diagnose, how to provide maintenance and when to do nothing at all.
Repurpose
Many are the uses for wood! chips can be used for mulch, twigs and leaves are free non-toxic fertilizer!! Logs can be milled for utility purposes or furniture - depending on the wood type. The bole can be left standing and made into art of your choice, firewood for energy and heating, logs and chips can be inoculated with culinary and medicinal mushrooms! the list goes on!
